Ladoga Ridge Winery is a family-owned and operated winery and vineyard operation.

Longtime Smithville residents Galen and his late wife Leinda Haddock invested much thought, time, and hard physical labor to develop this business - literally, from the ground up.

From planting the grapevines, meeting state and federal requirements, and perfecting the labels for each bottle of wine, to staining pergolas, putting the finishing touches on the warm and welcoming tasting room, and working with area merchants to fill the gift shop with local wares, the Haddocks have pressed forward toward their dream. The couple says they could not have done it without the help of their children, Bryant, Melissa, and Brittany, and the support of a few close friends.

Moving forward, Galen and his wife Cindy, are working very hard to make Ladoga Ridge Winery one of your favorite destinations. 

 

Smithville is the perfect location for Ladoga Ridge Winery. It is a community rich with history, a community proud of its heritage, where residents and merchants are inspired by the past and committed to the future.
